Obituary for Alfred Yother

Mr. Alfred William Yother, 73, of Cartersville, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Fite Living Center. He was a native of Bartow County, born June 25, 1944, to the late George Yother and Annie Mae Ray Yother.

Mr. Yother was a Godly man and a member of Forever Blessed Church. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from North Brother insulation Company where he was a foreman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Harry Yother, Henry Yother and Nancy Waits.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Eaves Yother; his children, Donna McDowell and husband, Chris, Iris Maeger and husband, Anthony, Jeff Dupree and wife, Lynne and Stephanie McDaniel and husband, Michael; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Larry & Marie Yother, Sue Ruff and Judy and Bobby Waits.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Keith Milner, The Reverend Donna McDowell and The Reverend Chris McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Dupree, Anthony Maeger, Gage Estes, Justin Dupree, Kaz Maeger and Austin Maeger
