You were a real pleasure to be around and you will be missed very baddly by the Veterans of this area. Your Contributions, and leadership to this Nation, as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, as well as a leader in the American Legion, and the many leadership positions of the VFW will not soon be forgotten. As the three Volleys are sounded, "It has been said that the three Volleys are symbolic of :God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost." It is with certainty that you will be with Him. As the Honor Guard Chaplain ,it would have been my greatest pleasure to have been able to Honor and pay tribute to you, by presenting the Flag of our Nation to your Widow, and Family.
