Mrs. Barbara Ann Harris, age 66, of Rydal, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center.

A native of Bartow County, Mrs. Harris was born May 23, 1951, the daughter of Roy Howell Elrod and Jo Annelle Crider Elrod.

Mrs. Harris was of the Baptist faith and loved her family. The joy of her life was her grandson, Cody, but loved all of her grandchildren very much. She enjoyed camping, sewing, fishing and watching western movies.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond B. Harris of Rydal; one daughter, Charemon King and husband, Anthony King, Sr. of Cartersville; step-daughter, TeLisa Jones of Cartersville; grandsons, Cody Ryan Bailey and wife, Lanae of Adairsville, Anthony King, Jr. of Unionville, Tennessee, Treven Jones and Devon Jones of Cartersville; her parents, Annelle and Roy Elrod of Cartersville; her brothers, Ronnie Elrod and Cindy of Rydal and Gary Elrod and Debbie of Rydal; a special friend that provided care, Misty Patterson of Plainville; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Reggie Nation officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family received friends on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rocky Diddle, Drew Smith, Chase Ashworth, Brian Perren, Dalton Whitter and Kaz Maeger.
