Obituary for Blayne Jones

Blayne  Jones
Mr. Blayne Jones, 69, of Euharlee died on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. Blayne was a native of Bartow County, born on November 6, 1948, to the late Asbury Allen Jones and Ruby Nichols Jones.

He was an owner/operator of Blayne Jones’ Trucking Company. He was an avid outdoorsmen enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a step-son, Barry Casey; his brothers, Bobby, Kenneth, Jerry and his twin, Wayne Jones; and one sister, Shirley May.

Survivors include his wife, Shelby Ann Jones of Euharlee; his step-son, Rodney Chastain of Rome; his grandsons, Nick Casey of Salt Lake City, Utah, Derek Casey (Shelby) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two great-grandsons, Derek and Jacob Casey; his sisters, Louise Shaw, Betty Lanier, Sue Bell (Gene) and Patsy Cox (Doug) all of Cartersville; his brothers, Verley Jones (Wanda) of Cartersville and David Jones of Cartersville; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 6 – 8 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date.
