Mr. Danny Ray Lingerfelt, 61, of Cartersville, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. Mr. Lingerfelt was a native of Bartow County, born on May 30, 1956, and the son of the late John Henry Lingerfelt and Esther Mulkey Lingerfelt.

Before retirement, Mr. Lingerfelt was employed by Shaw Industries. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Reynolds and his brothers-in-law, Robert Reynolds, Doyle Satterfield and Gene Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Dover Lingerfelt; his son, Eric Lingerfelt; his grandchildren, Aaron, Alyssa and Adam Lingerfelt; his siblings, Myrtle Howard, Inez Satterfield, Robert and Marie Lingerfelt, Rayford and Carol Lingerfelt and Betty and Bob Hightower; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Danny Cain officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
