Obituary for Bradley Townsend

Bradley  Townsend
Bradley Townsend, Sr., age 58 of Cartersville, died Monday, November 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Tioga, Louisiana on August 3, 1959 to the late Billy D. Townsend, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Vincent Townsend.

Brad loved his family and especially being a Papa to his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and cooking. Brad was an avid valve mechanic for over 30 years. Preceding him in death are his parents and his brothers, Billy and Brice Townsend.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Bagwell Townsend; his children, Brad Townsend Jr., Amber Williams (Tate), Kristie Townsend and Josh Proctor (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Kara, Jarret, Taylor, Ava, Krislyn, Jaydon and Kylie; his great-granddaughter, Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Georgia Transplant Foundation at www.gatransplant.org.
