Marcile Guyton, age 91, died on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Melbourne, Florida. Born in Bartow County on January 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lewis and Myrtle McCoy Lewis.

Ms. Guyton was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing, gardening and traveling. She was a very friendly and creative person. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Hugh (Mickey) Roy Guyton, Jr. and Brian Guyton; her sister, Betty Ruth Jackson; along with her son-in-law, Jimmy (Bear) Bishop.

Survivors include her children, Gay Bishop of Melbourne, Florida, Sandra Guyton of Melbourne, Florida and Robert Guyton (Jennifer) of Cartersville; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Sunset Memory Gardens with The Reverend Jody Cagle officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
