Obituary for Beverly Ann Ray

Mrs. Beverly Ann Ray, 65, of Cartersville, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Gary, Indiana, November 14, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Andrew Renslow and Mary Jane Lamaster Renslow.

Mrs. Ray loved the cartoon, Tweety Bird, gardening, flowers and collecting Barbie dolls. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Andrew “Andy” Ray; a sister, Deborah Zimmerman; and brothers, Thomas Renslow and Robert Renslow.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jerry Ray of Cartersville; her daughters, Tammy Gravley and husband, Jason and Teresa Brubacher and husband, Steve all of Cartersville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Patricia Renslow , Sandra Renslow and Darlene Martinez all of Hobart, Indiana; her brother, Alfred Lawrence Renslow of Chicago; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
