Obituary for Kathryn Nan Veney
Kathryn N. Veney, a longtime resident of Newton Falls, Ohio and later in retirement of Cartersville, Georgia, died suddenly Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Kathryn was born February 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Cihan of Newton Falls, Ohio.
Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She loved to take care of her family and friends through her cooking and crafts. Prior to retiring, Kathryn worked for the Newton Falls Senior Citizens Van, as well as actively volunteering in the community and especially for the seniors in Newton Falls and Cartersville.
She is survived by her husband Frank; her son, Ty and wife Amber and son Todd and wife Deborah; her brother Walter and wife Gloria; her sister Denise and husband Larry; along with 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
There will be no viewing, but the family appreciates donations made in her honor to the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes:
