Betty "Ann"  Davis
Mrs. Betty “Ann” Childers Davis, age 47, of Cartersville, died Friday, February 10, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, born on June 15, 1969, she was the daughter of Mary Jacobs Childers and Ralph Childers.

Ann was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Cody J’s. She enjoyed cooking, watching reality TV, shopping online and taking care of her grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Adam C. Davis; her daughters, Diana Morris (Chris), Jessica Buckner (Joseph) and Charlie Buckner; her sons, Michael “Buck” Buckner and Matthew Buckner all of Cartersville; her parents, Mary and Ralph Childers of Cartersville; her brother, Corey Childers (Meridith) of Cartersville; nephews, Dylan and Jacob Childers; her very special grandson, Jackson Mizell; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend William Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Wades Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael “Buck” Buckner, Matthew Buckner, Ronnie Vaughan, Jason Hyde, Jody Agan, Richard Williams, Donovan Williams and Shea Callaway. Cliff Stone and Keith Webber will serve as honorary pallbearers.
