Mrs. Deborah Lynn Vaughn, 53, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the home of her sister.

Born March 1, 1960 in Cartersville, she was a daughter of the late Donald Jack Thomas and the late Frances Floren Kiser. Deborah was of the Baptist Faith and was a people person who loved kids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Doyal.

Survivors include her brothers, Marion Grier, Jr., John Grier, Barry Grier, and Michael Grier and his wife Jan, all of Cartersville; sisters, Sissy Dowdy and her husband Larry of Murphysboro, IL, Kelly Bagley and her husband Robert of Cartersville, and Sarah Mullinax Silver and her husband Tony, also of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Doyal.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
